A season finale in Ticino
Golf Club Lugano hosted the Swiss Golf Junior Tour final on 17–18 October 2026. The 54-hole event closed the national junior series, with competitors qualifying either through their results across six Junior Tour events or their U18 Order of Merit ranking. Swiss Golf published its official recap on 19 October.
Kim Lou Joachim wins across two age groups
Kim Lou Joachim, representing Golf & Country Club de Bossey, carded rounds of 74, 71 and 72 for 217 strokes, seven over par. That was enough to win both the girls’ U18 and U16 classifications. The distinction matters: these were two age-group titles within the same tournament, rather than two separate events.
Clarissa Rattaggi of Losone finished second on 221 (+11), four shots behind Joachim. Malia Luder of Waldkirch took third in U18 on 223 (+13). In the U16 standings, Zoey Pang of Bossey was third with 225 (+15). Pang had opened with a sparkling 68 (−2), but could not sustain that advantage over the next two rounds.
Boys’ U18 title decided at the last hole
Tim Eduard Franzl of Davos posted 66, 73 and 68 to finish at 207 (−3) and win the boys’ U18 event. Jayson Piermont of Esery was only one stroke back at 208 (−2), after rounds of 72, 67 and 69. Swiss golf outlet Golf.ch reported a dramatic finish: Franzl made birdie at the final hole while Piermont made bogey.
Jonas Hauser (Sempachersee) and John Rösch (Wylihof) shared third on 210, level par. Hauser made his closing 66 despite a triple bogey at the 18th. Piermont nevertheless claimed the separate boys’ U16 classification, ahead of joint runners-up Felix Kleiner (Kyburg) and Romain Varone (Crans-sur-Sierre), both on 211 (+1).
The broader Swiss junior picture
The final brought together the Swiss junior circuit’s leading performers at a venue in Italian-speaking Ticino. The 54-hole format rewarded consistency over three rounds, while the closely contested boys’ result showed how much could change on the last green. For some participants this was also their last appearance as juniors, Swiss Golf noted.
Joachim’s double age-group victory and Franzl’s narrow win offer a clear snapshot of the talent emerging through the Swiss Golf pathway. They are results from a national junior tour final held in Switzerland, not a professional tournament.
