One finale, two decisive stories
On 21 October 2026, Muan Country Club in southwestern South Korea hosted the conclusion of the KLPGA Muan CC · All For You Dream Tour 21st Event, the final stop on the Korean women's development circuit. Played over 36 holes on the par-73, 6,685-yard layout, it decided both a weekly winner and the 2026 money list that determines direct access to the 2027 KLPGA regular tour.
Ahn Yeon-ju (안연주), 19, captured her first Dream Tour title with rounds of 70 and 68, a total of 138 (eight under par). Hwang Min-jeong finished runner-up at 139 (−7) and Kang Ji-seon took third at 140 (−6). The tournament offered a total purse of 70 million South Korean won, including 10.5 million won for the champion.
How Ahn handled the pressure
Ahn told the KLPGA that putting made the difference. Over both rounds she missed, by her account, only one putt from inside five metres. Her final round included birdies at the 4th, 11th, 15th, 17th and 18th holes. At the par-five 16th, a shot into a headwind veered right toward a penalty area; rather than forcing the next play, she laid up and saved par. She also adopted a wider putting stance to stay stable in strong wind.
There is an important qualification behind the headline: Ahn entered on a sponsor's invitation. She receives the 10.5 million-won winner's cheque, but those earnings do not count toward the official Dream Tour season money standings. Victory therefore does not automatically place her among the 15 graduates earning direct regular-tour status for 2027. She intends to compete at the qualifying school for her regular-tour card.
Ahn took up golf at seven, and all four children in her family play the sport competitively. She was part of Korea's national reserve programme in 2022. During 2026 she progressed through the KLPGA membership ladder before reaching this breakthrough.
Joo Ga-in claims the season money title
The season-long prize-money championship went to Joo Ga-in (주가인), 23, whose two Dream Tour victories helped her finish with 48,324,954 won. Gil Ye-ram followed with 47,210,000 won, a margin of 1,114,954 won; Jeong Ji-hyo was third with 40,902,000 won, ahead of Seong A-jin on 40,559,000 won.
The top 15 in the official season money list secured 2027 KLPGA regular-tour cards. At the cutoff, the final event produced a dramatic reversal. Jo Yi-an tied for 20th, added 651,000 won, and rose from 16th to 14th on the season list, securing a direct card. Son Yeon-jeong, who entered the finale in 15th, earned no additional prize money and slipped to 16th, outside the direct-qualification places.
Why a secondary-tour finish matters
The Dream Tour is a pathway into one of the world's strongest domestic women's golf circuits, not simply a collection of smaller tournaments. Ahn's win illustrates the difference between a single-event trophy and season-based eligibility. Jo's late rise shows how even a modest cheque at the final event can determine a player's next season. Muan's finale produced a first-time champion, confirmed the money-list winner and settled 15 regular-tour opportunities.
