One shot reshapes an entire season

Florence Yvon Bisera has secured the 2026 Ladies Philippine Golf Tour Order of Merit, finishing an exceptionally tight money-list race just ₱4,550 ahead of Harmie Constantino. Following the October 27–30 ICTSI Apo Golf Classic in Davao, the tour's official standings put Bisera on ₱704,150 and Constantino on ₱699,600.

The swing that made the difference was a hole-in-one at the 17th in the final round. Bisera holed her tee shot, rather than holing out with an approach or a subsequent stroke. It helped lift her into a tie for third with Chanelle Avaricio and Princess Superal. Constantino won the Apo tournament, but Bisera claimed the season-long money title: these are separate achievements and should not be confused.

The financial margin

Bisera's share of the prize fund for the three-way tie covering third to fifth was ₱83,750. Constantino earned ₱162,500 for her victory, narrowing the season-long gap but not eliminating it.

More than a spectacular ace

Bisera's campaign included two tournament wins and two runner-up finishes. Her momentum was under pressure going into the finale, however, and opening rounds of 74 and 73 gave Constantino a genuine opportunity to overtake her.

The decisive hole-in-one mattered because finishing position determines prize allocations. A single stroke can shift a player into a different group of prize earners; across a close season-long competition, that can outweigh much larger-looking differences in the result of one tournament. The ace was crucial, but a consistent campaign established the position it ultimately saved.

In a November 1 account circulated by Pilipinas Golf, Bisera described the 17th-hole shot as the turning point of her title race and said the achievement should boost her confidence ahead of international competition. That was an expression of intent, not an announcement of any specific new contract or confirmed overseas schedule.

The sums and rankings were checked against the LPGT's official 2026 Order of Merit. Details of the hole-in-one and player comments come from the Pilipinas Golf report carried by Philstar and BusinessMirror.
