Branden Grace has added the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open to his schedule, the DP World Tour confirmed on October 26. The South African, 38, will make his tournament debut at Mont Choisy Le Golf in Mauritius from December 10–13, 2026. The trip offers more than another opportunity to compete: it could complete an unusual set of victories across two closely linked tours.
The missing piece
Grace has already won the three currently co-sanctioned DP World Tour and Sunshine Tour events staged in South Africa. The Mauritius Open is the fourth event in that group, held on the neighbouring island rather than in South Africa itself. Should Grace win, he would have a victory at every one of the four events. That would be a career collection of titles, not a run of four consecutive tournament wins.
It would also mark his tenth DP World Tour title. The nine-time winner has made clear that reaching double figures is one of his ambitions, alongside the longer-term hope of adding a major championship to his record.
A changing competitive landscape
Defending champion Jayden Schaper and Casey Jarvis are among the South Africans already confirmed for the December field. Organisers say more international names are still to come. Grace recently announced plans to return to a DP World Tour schedule in 2027 after his time on LIV Golf, giving his upcoming appearance an added sense of transition.
The event is celebrating its tenth anniversary, but the distinction matters: Grace's entry is confirmed; a tenth tour victory and the four-event sweep are possibilities, not accomplishments yet. The result will be decided on the course at Mont Choisy Le Golf.
