Cerda holds on for a one-stroke win
The 22nd Abierto AutoClub Antofagasta concluded on 1 November 2026 in Antofagasta, northern Chile, after three days of professional and amateur competition. Francisco Cerda won the professional division with 180 strokes (even par) over 54 holes, just one ahead of defending champion Gustavo Silva, who finished at 181 (+1). The event was played at AutoClub Antofagasta on a par-60 course.
Cerda opened with an outstanding 55 (−5), building a five-stroke lead. His second-round 64 (+4) narrowed that margin to one after Silva posted 59. Both title contenders then shot 61 (+1) in the final round, leaving Cerda in front. His round-by-round total was 55–64–61 = 180; Silva recorded 61–59–61 = 181. Francisco Valdés took third in the professional division at 187 (+7).

Constanza Maldonado started the last round six strokes behind Trinidad Soto in the Damas division. Maldonado signed for 71 on Sunday against Soto's 77, bringing both players to 218 (+38) after 54 holes. They returned to the course for an additional playoff hole, which Maldonado won. The women's result is a separate amateur category, not the professional championship won by Cerda.

Cristian Maldonado was the leading amateur, winning men's Varones A gross with 190 (+10) after rounds of 67, 61 and 62. Pastor Aguirre was runner-up on 198 (+18). Alfredo Núñez won Varones B gross with 221 (+41), while Enrique Ortiz won the men's senior gross division on 213 (+33).
