Vietnamese and Korean women's golf clubs to meet on 6 November

A second Vietnam–Korea women's golf exchange is scheduled for 6 November 2026 at Legend Valley Country Club in Ninh Bình, Vietnam. The Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) has confirmed the date, venue and participating communities: Queen Club and a Korean women's golf club based in Vietnam. This is a club-level gathering, not a contest between the two national teams or an event on either country's professional tour.

There is an additional local story behind the venue. In a report published on 23 October, Vietnamese golf outlet GolfEdit identified the Canyon Course as the playing venue. It is the newer of Legend Valley's two 18-hole layouts, set among Ninh Bình's distinctive limestone hills.

Returning after the first meeting at Sky Lake

The inaugural exchange took place on 5 June 2025 at Sky Lake. According to GolfEdit, more than 100 women golfers joined that gathering. The 2026 edition continues the relationship between Queen Club and members of the Korean golfing community living in Vietnam, pairing time on the course with conversation and cultural exchange.

The wording matters. The Korean participants represent a locally based women's club, not the Republic of Korea's national golf squad. Neither a definitive 2026 start list nor verified results or a confirmed number of entrants had been issued in the sources checked before publication. No individual participants or winners are therefore named.

A newly completed 18-hole layout

On 10 October 2026, Legend Valley put all 18 holes of the Canyon Course into operation. Together with the Rose Course, this brought the facility to 36 playable holes, as detailed in a separate VGA report. The complex's golf-course design is associated with Nicklaus Design.

The Canyon routing uses the area's rugged karst topography, elevation shifts and curving fairways to create strategic decisions from the tee through the approach to the green. For women encountering the layout for the first time, assessing landing areas and the next shot may be as important as distance. That is context about the course, however, not a claim about how the forthcoming event will be scored: the checked announcements do not establish whether the exchange uses stroke play, match play or another format.

A place for women's club golf

The significance of this meeting lies beyond a leaderboard. Recurring exchanges help women's clubs build networks, share practical experience and keep cross-cultural relationships active through the sport. The VGA presentation emphasizes friendship, mutual understanding and a broader women's golf community.

As of 30 October, the event was still upcoming. Results, awards and the eventual competition format should only be reported after the 6 November gathering and verification against organizers' records.

The reporting draws on the Vietnam Golf Association's event announcement, its separate update on Canyon Course becoming fully operational, and GolfEdit's 23 October coverage.
