Si Woo Kim three shots off Genesis Championship lead ahead of Korean finale
Yuto Katsuragawa matched the course record with a 63 to lead at 13 under, while home favourite Si Woo Kim remains three strokes back.

The Genesis Championship in South Korea is set for a competitive final round after Japanese golfer Yuto Katsuragawa took a two-shot lead on Saturday, October 24, 2026. His flawless eight-under 63 matched the course record at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club and moved him to 13 under overall. South Korea's Si Woo Kim is three shots behind, still in contention for a first DP World Tour victory.
Katsuragawa started quickly with four birdies in his first five holes and maintained his momentum throughout the round. He finished two strokes clear of South Africa's Casey Jarvis. A group of three players, including Kim, is another shot back. With 18 holes remaining, there is still plenty of scope for the standings to change.
Kim's opportunity is particularly meaningful on home soil. He has won four times on the PGA Tour but has yet to secure a title on the European circuit. This is his 60th DP World Tour start. A victory in front of Korean spectators would add an important achievement to his career.
Reigning The Open champion Ryan Fox is also within striking distance. He posted a two-under 69, his third consecutive round in the 60s, to reach nine under and share sixth place. Four shots behind Katsuragawa, he will need a strong Sunday to challenge for the trophy.
There are wider season implications. Genesis Championship is part of the final stretch before the DP World Tour playoffs in Abu Dhabi on November 5–8 and Dubai on November 12–15. Jarvis, already a winner in Kenya and South Africa in February, can strengthen his Race to Dubai position. Patrick Reed and Rory McIlroy are not playing this week, while points leader Eugenio Chacarra was tied for 30th at three under after Saturday.
All standings in this report are from the end of round three on October 24, not the final results on October 25.
