Seamus Power and Austin Smotherman share Bermuda lead ahead of final round
Power and Smotherman finished Saturday at 16 under par at Port Royal Golf Course, setting up a final-round showdown.

Ireland's Seamus Power and American Austin Smotherman share the lead after the third round of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship on October 24, 2026. Both stand at 16 under par at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda. These are the standings after Saturday, not the tournament's final result.
Power carded a four-under 67 in the third round. He birdied the first and third holes, then recorded a long run of pars before another birdie at the 10th. A bogey at the 13th was followed by an immediate response: he holed out from the fairway for birdie at the 14th. Another birdie on the par-five 17th helped him retain a share of the lead.
Smotherman shot 66 on Saturday after rounds of 65 and 66. Both players enter Sunday with a chance to secure a significant late-season PGA Tour victory. Power is seeking his first tour win in four years. Strong winds at Port Royal made scoring difficult and rewarded precision around the greens.
The two leaders are scheduled to play together in the final group on Sunday. Other contenders remain close enough to challenge, so the title has not been decided. Victory could also have implications for a player's future PGA Tour status as well as the prize money.
