Qatar is preparing to host the 45th Arab Men's Golf Championship in Doha. The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) lists the competition for 2–5 November 2026 at Doha Golf Club. As of 29 October, the tournament is still ahead: this is a preview of an upcoming regional championship, not a report of completed rounds or confirmed winners.

What the official calendar confirms

The QOC event page names the competition “The 2026 Arab Golf Championship, (45) edition for men” and identifies Doha Golf Club as the venue. Its extended Arab Championships listing gives 2–5 November as the event dates and names the Qatar Golf Federation in the federation field. These details establish the scheduled host venue and dates, but they do not amount to a published draw, entry list or playing regulations.

The distinction matters because several quite different competitions use Doha Golf Club. This Arab men's championship should not be confused with the professional Qatar Masters on the DP World Tour, with the Qatar Open, or with the separate Arab junior championship in which Qatari players competed earlier in October. The November event is its own competition.

A familiar championship venue

Doha Golf Club is an established part of the region's golf infrastructure. The organisers of the Qatar Masters describe its championship course as an 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by Peter Harradine. That is useful background on the venue, not confirmation of the precise tees, hole lengths or course setup that will be used for the November championship. Those details require the tournament's own regulations and official notices.

Hosting the event gives the Qatar Golf Federation an opportunity to stage a regional men's competition at home. It also puts attention on the facilities and players behind Qatar's domestic golf programme. However, a scheduled championship does not by itself establish which national teams have entered or how any individual golfer will perform.

What remains unconfirmed

As of 29 October 2026, the publicly available QOC event entry does not provide named entrants, starting times, a round-by-round scoring format or a leaderboard. We therefore do not speculate about a field size, medals, favourites or results. The next definitive information should come from the Qatar Golf Federation, Doha Golf Club or the QOC as tournament documents become available.
