Can You Smoke a Cigar on the Golf Course?

The question of whether it is permissible to smoke a cigar while putting concerns many golfers. According to the golf rules expert known as Rules Guy, the answer depends on the use of the cigar. If it is used solely for smoking and enjoyment, then it does not contradict the rules. However, if the cigar is used as a means to stabilize the head during a stroke, this may be considered a violation. According to Rule 4.3, it all depends on the player's intentions. A humorous exception is made for Cuban cigars, but that's just a joke from Rules Guy.
