The 2026 Baycurrent Classic tees off Wednesday night in Japan. Golf Channel will carry live coverage of the opening round from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. ET, with a simultaneous stream available on Golfchannel.com and the Golf Channel App.
The field includes two-time major champion Xander Schauffele. After a breakthrough 2024 campaign, Schauffele struggled in 2025 before rebounding with a comeback victory at the Baycurrent Classic. A year later, he again failed to win during the 2026 regular season, but he recorded seven top-10 finishes.
A successful title defense—and an 11th PGA Tour victory—would be an ideal way for Schauffele to finish his year and build momentum for next season.
