On October 26, the LPGA published its official viewing guide for the Maybank Championship, the next stop on the tour's autumn swing through Asia. The announcement concerns confirmed broadcast arrangements, not an early leaderboard: the event will not begin until Thursday, October 29, and runs through Sunday, November 1, 2026.
Four confirmed live windows
The LPGA lists a daily live window from 01:30 to 06:30 UTC on October 29, 30 and 31 and November 1. For people following the tournament in Malaysia, that means 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. MYT every day. In South Korea, it is 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. KST; in London, 1:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. GMT; and in mainland Spain, 2:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. CET. For North American viewers, the corresponding TV window begins on the previous calendar evening, although actual access depends on local broadcast rights and channel arrangements.
Golf Channel appears in the official LPGA viewing information, along with pointers to the LPGA live-stream page and international television partners. A five-hour transmission window does not guarantee that every shot by every player will be televised. Schedules can also change for operational or weather reasons, so checking official listings on the day remains advisable.
The tournament behind the broadcast
The competition will take place on the West Course at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. The LPGA specifies a par-72 layout measuring 6,536 yards, a US$3 million purse and 500 Race to CME Globe points available to the winner. The intended championship is 72 holes, subject to any necessary changes made by tournament officials.
One strategic moment worth tracking is the 332-yard, par-4 16th, the event's designated Aon Risk Reward Challenge hole. A player choosing to attack the green could gain an advantage or invite trouble; a more conservative approach may keep a scorecard intact. That contrast is better understood by watching club selections and outcomes in real time than by looking only at a final number.
Defending champion versus this year's field
Miyu Yamashita, the 2025 champion, is included in the entry list as checked on October 26. Her victory last year came in a three-way playoff after she completed regulation play at 18 under, 270 strokes. Those figures are strictly from 2025; the 2026 leaderboard cannot yet be reported as a live score.
The official field also includes Haeran Ryu, Ruoning Yin, Hannah Green, Hye-Jin Choi, Lottie Woad and Céline Boutier, alongside Malaysian players granted tournament invitations. Entry status may still change before play begins. For viewers, the practical takeaway is simple: Thursday's coverage is scheduled to start at 09:30 in Kuala Lumpur, and the same time applies to the Sunday finale on November 1. Once shots are struck, the LPGA's official leaderboard—not last year's result—will be the source for scores and rankings.
