The 2026 Asian Development Tour season has ended earlier than scheduled. On 28 October, Asian Tour confirmed the postponement of the Aramco Invitational Tournament, the remaining ADT season finale. The event had been scheduled for 25–28 November 2026 at Rolling Hills Golf Club in Saudi Arabia. Organisers cited regional instability and player-safety concerns. No replacement dates were provided. With the event removed from the ADT schedule, the season-long money list is now final.

Malaysia's Khavish Varadan, 26, is the 2026 Order of Merit champion. He collected US$64,883.89 across eight appearances and finished top of the ADT season earnings list for the first time. This is prize money earned on the development circuit, not a stroke-play score or points in the main Asian Tour rankings. Fourteen ADT events were staged during the season, according to the tour's announcement.

Varadan is the third Malaysian to top the ADT Order of Merit in its 16-year history, following S. Siva Chandhran (2010) and Nicholas Fung (2013). He has already been competing on the main Asian Tour after earning status through Qualifying School, so his money-list triumph is a season title rather than his first route onto that tour.

A season shaped by two play-offs. At February's PKNS Selangor Masters, Varadan lost a play-off to Singapore's Nicklaus Chiam. He immediately responded by winning the Nam A Bank Vietnam Masters the following month, beating Thailand's Jazz Janewattananond in extra holes. Both had completed regulation play in 201 strokes (15 under par), with Varadan's three rounds of 67, 69 and 65 verified in the tournament results. He later tied for second at the Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament and recorded two more top-five finishes.

Nine further players secure 2027 Asian Tour status. The announcement also settles the top ten of the ADT Order of Merit. Joining Varadan are Minhyeok Yang (South Korea), Sean Ramos (Philippines), Michele Ortolani (Italy), Runchanapong Youprayong (Thailand), Pukhraj Gill (India), Nicklaus Chiam (Singapore), Andi Xu (China), Kevin Akbar (Indonesia) and Nathan Han (United States). These are positions on the ADT earnings list, not in the Official World Golf Ranking.

The last event actually played in the 2026 ADT season is therefore Egypt Golf Series 14, won in early October by England's Ben Jones. Postponement of the planned Saudi event does not mean that tournament was played or awarded. What changed on 28 October was the finality of the championship standings and the identity of the players promoted to the Asian Tour for 2027.
