Jarvis and Rozner share Genesis Championship lead after two rounds

Casey Jarvis and Antoine Rozner will begin the Genesis Championship weekend sharing the lead. Both stood at ten under after Friday’s second round on October 23. The title remains undecided.

Rozner caught the overnight leader with a 65, making six birdies. Jarvis added four birdies in a 67 to keep his challenge on track. Neither dropped a shot on Friday, leaving little room for the chasing players to gain ground.

Four players, including Sanghun Shin, are three strokes back at seven under, while Si Woo Kim is at six under. The tournament at Woo Jeong Hills in South Korea runs through October 25.

Jarvis is seeking another title in an already productive season. His first DP World Tour victory came at the Kenya Open in February; a week later he won the South African Open. Those consecutive victories marked a substantial step in his career.

Rozner arrived with a different priority: at 77th in the Race to Dubai, he was outside the Play-Off qualification places. This is the final regular-season event, so a strong finish could extend his campaign.

The season standings will send the leading 70 available players to Abu Dhabi, then the top 50 to the Dubai finale. There is another threshold too: the top 100 secure Category 10 status for next season, enabling a near-full schedule.
