Hyo Joo Kim climbs to seventh at BMW Ladies Championship after third-round 67
The South Korean made seven birdies on Saturday to reach 11 under par, six strokes behind the leader.

Hyo Joo Kim moved from a tie for 15th into a tie for seventh at the BMW Ladies Championship in Haenam on October 24, 2026. She shot a five-under 67 at Pine Beach Golf Links, reaching 11-under 205 through three rounds. With 18 holes remaining, she trails leader Haeran Ryu by six shots.
Kim made four birdies on the front nine, at holes two, three, six and nine, turning in 32. A bogey at the 11th was followed by a birdie at the 13th, then another dropped shot at the 15th. She finished strongly with consecutive birdies at 16 and 17 before a par at the last.
Her round included seven birdies and two bogeys. She found 13 of 14 fairways, hit 15 of 18 greens in regulation and needed 28 putts. Her accuracy from the tee helped create scoring opportunities throughout the round.
The 31-year-old has nine LPGA Tour victories, including the 2014 Evian Championship. In 2026 she won the Founders Cup and Ford Championship in consecutive starts and had six top-ten finishes by October.
The final round is scheduled for October 25. A six-shot deficit makes victory difficult, but Kim can still improve her position at her home event. These are third-round standings, not the final result.
