French Golfer Victor Perez Joins LIV Golf

French golfer Victor Perez has decided to join LIV Golf after unexpectedly withdrawing from the RSM Classic tournament this week. This decision sparked a wave of rumors, which were soon confirmed by an official announcement from the Cleeks Golf Club team. A mysterious message appeared on the team's social media page X: “A new chapter begins. 19.11.25.”, suggesting the imminent arrival of a new player. The accompanying photo showed four golf bags, one of which was unnamed and instead marked with the date and the French word “Allez”. It soon became clear that it was Victor Perez, who at the age of 33 has three DP World Tour victories to his name, including the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship in 2023. Despite a successful season, Perez decided to change the direction of his career. On Wednesday, Cleeks officially confirmed his transfer: “From France, with grace. Welcome Victor Perez!”. This move makes Perez the first PGA Tour player this year to decide to join LIV Golf, following Min Woo Lee, who, on the contrary, remained with the PGA Tour.
