2026 Wyndham Championship Friday TV coverage: How to watch Round 2

The 2026 Wyndham Championship continues on Friday, August 7, 2026, with the second round at Sedgefield Country Club. This tournament marks the final event of the regular season for the PGA Tour, with players battling for crucial FedEx Cup points. After the opening round, Beau Hossler surged into an unexpected lead, firing a nine-under 61.

Hossler's Playoff Push

For Beau Hossler, this season had been a challenging one. Prior to this week's event, he had only one top-10 finish, and his FedEx Cup ranking had fallen to 122nd. A strong performance, potentially a win, was crucial for him to qualify for the playoffs. His scintillating first round at the Wyndham Championship has dramatically improved his chances. Should he hold on for three more rounds and secure the victory, Hossler will lock up a spot in next week's FedEx St. Jude Championship.
