A dozen golf balls can look similar on the shelf, but Titleist's 2026 Tour Soft and Velocity have different constructions and intended flight profiles. We compared exact standard white 12-ball packs on UK retailer pages inspected 3 November 2026 at approximately 08:57 GMT. One model is also listed by two different UK merchants, allowing a like-for-like price comparison.
Two distinct 2026 designs
Tour Soft: elastomer cover and iron-flight design
Titleist describes a slightly smaller core and a softer, thicker reformulated elastomer cover for Tour Soft. Its 386 quadrilateral-dipyramid dimples are designed for higher mid-iron launch and steeper descent into greens. Those are manufacturer intentions, not our independent ball-flight test or guaranteed results for every player. Tour Soft may interest golfers prioritising soft impact feel and approach-shot behaviour.
Velocity: firmer cover and penetrating flight
Velocity 2026 uses a revised softer core with a firmer ionomer cover and 350 octahedral dimples. Titleist positions the model for long-game distance and a lower, more penetrating peak flight. That does not prove it will travel farther for every golfer, nor does it establish identical greenside spin to Tour Soft.
Checked UK retailer offers
The Clubhouse Golf Tour Soft White dozen appeared at £32.99 and the Velocity White dozen at £26.99; both seller pages explicitly reported stock ready to ship. Scottsdale Golf showed the identical Tour Soft 2026 White dozen at £34.00. These are the normal single-dozen listed prices, not selected multi-buy tiers or crossed-out RRP figures.

Price depends on the specificationDelivery and the price of a single box
Clubhouse Golf advertised UK mainland free shipping over £30 at our check. A single £26.99 Velocity pack may therefore attract delivery charges while £32.99 Tour Soft exceeds the stated threshold; check the actual shipping address and checkout. Scottsdale advertised 5% off two dozens and 10% off three as conditional multibuy terms. Those promotions should not be passed off as a historical price drop, and crossed-out reference prices are not past verified transactions.
If a soft feel and the maker's mid-iron landing goals matter, Tour Soft is a sensible product to investigate. If the main priority is its maker's lower flight profile and the lowest single-box list price among these checked offers, consider Velocity. Neither choice guarantees lower scores or extra yards.
