A European distribution specialist becomes part of the group
On 4 November 2026, Revelyst announced that it had acquired Optimum Golf Technologies, a European distributor and integrator of golf simulation equipment. The transaction closed on 23 October, ahead of the public announcement. The parties did not disclose financial terms. Optimum will operate as Revelyst Golf Technology Europe.
This is not the release of a new driver, rangefinder or simulator model. The significance is structural: who installs, supports and services the interconnected systems used by golf facilities, coaches, club fitters and indoor golf venues.
What the acquisition brings together
Optimum has been a distribution partner for Foresight Sports and Bushnell Golf, supplying equipment and installation expertise across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Revelyst's golf technology portfolio includes Foresight Sports, Bushnell Golf, GolfLogix and PinSeeker. Acquiring Optimum expands the platform's European operating capability; it does not mean every brand or independent distributor in EMEA has been acquired.
Optimum's role goes beyond moving boxes. It designs and installs simulator facilities and supports customers after installation. Revelyst says the team brings more than 15 years of experience with Foresight technology alongside broader expertise in golf simulation and custom installations.
Why golf facilities may care
A launch monitor is part of a larger system: physical equipment, software, installation, calibration, training and support. Sophisticated shot data cannot deliver its full value if devices are incorrectly installed, left uncalibrated or poorly integrated with the software a facility uses.
Revelyst says local service, quicker technical support and recalibration, and closer coordination between hardware and custom installations are among its priorities. For operators, that could make responsibility for a complete installation clearer. It is too early, however, to call these benefits delivered: no new service-level guarantees, repair turnaround times or revised customer pricing were announced.
Existing partners and management
The group says it intends to continue working with independent distributors across EMEA. Buying a longstanding partner therefore should not automatically be interpreted as an immediate switch to direct sales everywhere.
Optimum's existing staff and leadership will remain. Edward Doling is set to become Sales and Marketing Director of the European unit, and Oliver Clark Operations Director. Keeping the local team reflects the commercial logic of the deal: preserve customer relationships and on-site expertise while bringing those capabilities inside a global technology platform.
The test will be in the service
Integrating measurement hardware, software and an installation business gives Revelyst more control over the path from product design to customer experience. But the announcement offers no purchase price, integration financial targets, detailed product roadmap or specific launch dates. Those details remain unknown.
The practical measures of success will be consistent installation quality, responsiveness and support for existing owners—not a claim that the acquisition alone changes how launch monitors perform.
