India's DP World Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) has published the opening stretch of its 2026–27 calendar. Five tournaments have been confirmed for November and December 2026, with combined prize funds of ₹6 crore (₹60 million). This is not the full-season schedule: the tour still needs to release the 2027 portion.

The five confirmed events

The Indian Oil Servo Masters opens the sequence on 17–20 November at Digboi Golf Links in Assam, with ₹1 crore at stake. The Trident Open follows on 1–4 December at Chandigarh Golf Club (₹1 crore), then the Jaipur Open on 8–11 December at Rambagh Golf Club (₹1 crore). The CIDCO Open is scheduled for 15–18 December at Kharghar Valley Golf Course in Navi Mumbai (₹1 crore). The final event in the announced block is the Tata Open, 24–27 December, at Golmuri and Beldih Golf Clubs in Jamshedpur (₹2 crore). Each date, venue and purse was checked against the official PGTI event listings.

These events form the opening of the new 2026–27 season; they are not additions to the already completed 2026 Order of Merit. The entries, scores and winners of future tournaments have not yet been established.

Why moving the season boundary matters

India's traditional season rankings concluded in late December. This created a timing problem for an Order of Merit champion attempting to use playing opportunities on Europe's DP World Tour: several events in the European season could already have passed. The PGTI is moving to a November-to-October cycle, linking the conclusion of its championship race to October's DP World India Championship. The governing principle was publicly announced in August; the newly listed events clarify how the next cycle will begin.

For players, earlier clarity should make it easier to plan travel and eligible European starts rather than waiting for a December season-end decision. Nevertheless, calendar alignment does not guarantee entry to every DP World Tour event: exemptions and eligibility remain subject to tour regulations.

What remains unconfirmed

The ₹6 crore figure covers only these five events, not the eventual full-season purse. Additional fixtures and any changes to dates or venues require official confirmation. The next scheduled competitive milestone is the 17 November opening in Digboi.
