The PNC Championship announced another group of entrants on October 28, 2026, bringing world No. 1 Nelly Korda, ten-time major champion Annika Sörenstam and PGA TOUR winner Cameron Young into the December family event in Orlando. This year's field will include four women, the largest number in the tournament's history.

The family pairings

Nelly Korda is set to make her sixth appearance alongside her father Petr Korda, the former professional tennis player. The format gives the leading LPGA star a chance to play competitively with a family member rather than in her usual individual tour setting.

Annika Sörenstam will team up with her son Will McGee for a fourth consecutive year. Izzi Stricker joins her father, 12-time PGA TOUR champion Steve Stricker, while Christina Langer will partner her father, six-time PNC champion Bernhard Langer. The record refers to four female participants in this family competition; it does not imply that all four are currently LPGA Tour professionals.

Sörenstam welcomed the expanded representation, saying in the organizers' announcement that more women in the event adds to its special emphasis on family connections. The four pairings illustrate how different generations can share the same competitive stage.

Cameron Young's debut

Cameron Young will make his first PNC Championship appearance with his father David Young, an experienced golf professional. Young earned eligibility by winning THE PLAYERS Championship in March and also claimed the inaugural Cadillac Championship during his breakthrough 2026 season. He described the chance to compete alongside his father as a particular honor and a meaningful way to finish the year.

Other confirmed entrants include Brooks Koepka, Matt Kuchar, David Duval, Trevor Immelman, Nick Price and Lee Trevino. Nine places remained to be announced as of October 28, so the full lineup is not yet final.

What makes the PNC different

The event runs December 17–20, 2026, at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Orlando, Grande Lakes. The competition itself consists of two rounds on December 19–20, a 36-hole scramble for 20 family teams. In a scramble, teammates select the preferred ball position after their shots and continue the team's play from there. It should not be confused with four-ball or foursomes.

The lead entrant must have won a major championship or THE PLAYERS Championship, while the relative who partners them cannot hold playing status on a professional tour. The teams will compete for the Willie Park Trophy in a format that highlights family relationships alongside competitive golf.
