Limited-edition Scotty Cameron Phantom Spec III putters available for pre-order

Scotty Cameron has opened pre-orders for two limited-edition putters: the Phantom 11R OC Spec III and Phantom 5 OC Spec III. According to GOLF.com, pre-orders will begin shipping Oct. 1.

The Phantom 11R OC Spec III is a stable, high-MOI mallet with a tour-inspired rounded shape. The Phantom 5 OC Spec III features a compact, modern wingback head design.

Both putters have three high-contrast sightlines to help frame the ball and establish the intended start line. Their faces use Scotty Cameron’s chain-link milling, designed to provide a responsive, soft feel and sound at impact.

Both models feature a black physical vapor deposition (PVD) finish bonded to the milled head. The finish creates a dark appearance and reduces glare at address. They also use Scotty Cameron’s Onset-Center (OC) configuration, with a straight shaft installed directly in line with the putter’s center of gravity and one degree of forward shaft lean. The configuration is intended to support a simplified, twist-resistant square-to-path stroke.

The all-black setup is completed by black PVD steel shafts and 11-inch midsize Matador grips designed to help steady the stroke. Both premium mallets are available in 33-, 34- and 35-inch lengths.

The Phantom 11R OC Spec III and Phantom 5 OC Spec III are priced at $800 each. Pre-orders are available through Fairway Jockey.
