For G440 MAX, the lowest advertised price in this selection is £499 at The Golf Shop Online, with Snainton Golf also starting at £499. Clubhouse Golf and GolfOnline list £529. The £30 gap is useful when the specification you need is available at both retailers.
For G430 MAX, The Golf Shop Online and GolfOnline show £369, against £379 at Clubhouse Golf. With only £10 between them, included accessories and delivery timing may matter more than the headline price. GolfOnline, for example, lists a headcover and wrench.
Which generation makes sense?
G430 MAX is the lower-cost option here, with an entry price £130 below G440 MAX. That is a difference between generations, not a discount on an identical club. If the older model suits your fitting results, a newer name alone is not a reason to spend more.
When comparing G440 MAX builds, check length as well as loft and flex. According to PING's specifications, the stock ALTA CB Blue 50 build is 46 inches, while several other stock shafts are 45.5 inches. The G430 MAX with ALTA CB 55 Black has a standard length of 45.75 inches. The same model name can therefore cover materially different builds.
Delivery and accessories
All four retailers advertise free delivery above £30. Clubhouse Golf and GolfOnline specify mainland UK, and GolfOnline has postcode exclusions. The Golf Shop Online warns that PING warehouse and systems upgrades may extend delivery to 15 working days.
