Meet the 20 players who earned 2027 PGA Tour cards

Major changes are coming to the PGA Tour in 2028, when its two-track system is scheduled to debut. The top tier will be known as the Championship Series. That makes the 2027 season especially important for players trying to reach the sport’s top level, and holding a 2027 PGA Tour card will give them a head start before the new structure takes effect.

Twenty players secured those cards through the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship. They are listed in order of their finish on the final Korn Ferry Tour points list.

1. Ross Steelman — won the season-long points race after two victories and six top-five finishes in 2026.
2. Sandy Scott — finished the season with four consecutive top-five finishes, including back-to-back wins.
3. Ian Holt — won the second and third events of the season to remain inside the top 20.
4. Alistair Docherty — at 32, finally advanced to the PGA Tour after four years on the Korn Ferry Tour. He was also a guest on GOLF’s latest Subpar podcast.
5. Alvaro Ortiz — won twice to earn his card after four full seasons on the Korn Ferry Tour.
6. Austin Hitt — won Sunday’s season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship. It was his third consecutive season on the Korn Ferry Tour.
7. Cole Sherwood — earned his card in his second full season. He won the Colonial Life Charity Classic to move up the points list.
8. Doc Redman — the 2017 U.S. Amateur champion is back on the PGA Tour after a brief stint on the Korn Ferry Tour.
9. Blades Brown — at 19, became the youngest PGA Tour card-holder in history.
10. Tommy Morrison — the 6-foot-9 player earned his membership in just 131 days on the Korn Ferry Tour, thanks to five straight top-10 finishes, including a win.
11. Cooper Dossey — spent three seasons on the Korn Ferry Tour before securing his PGA Tour card.
12. Hunter Eichhorn — recorded a Korn Ferry Tour-leading nine top-10 finishes. His best result was a runner-up finish after losing the Visit Knoxville Open to Doc Redman in a playoff.
13. Dylan Menante — won the Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya by six shots over 19-year-old Blades Brown.
14. Michael Johnson — made 21 of 25 cuts, and that consistency helped him earn his card after his eighth season on the Korn Ferry Tour.
15. Jeremy Gandon — won the LECOM Suncoast Classic to move up the points list. He also won the event last year but finished 22nd in points.
16. Taylor Dickson — won twice on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2024 to earn a PGA Tour promotion, then fell back in 2025. He returned after winning the season-opening Bahamas Golf Classic.
17. Ian Gilligan — made nine top-10s in 24 starts during his first season on the Korn Ferry Tour.
18. Davis Shore — earned promotion in his third full Korn Ferry Tour season, finishing inside the top five twice in his last six events.
