GOLF.com’s David Curcurito tested the Big Max Blade IP 2 push cart. Although he is usually not a fan of push carts, this model quickly changed his mind.

Curcurito says the Blade IP 2’s standout feature is its folding mechanism. When folded, the cart becomes a flat panel about 5 inches thick. He says it can fit in the trunk of a two-seat car, unfolds in seconds and has rear wheels that fold automatically.

The aluminum cart weighs just under 15 pounds. Despite its low weight, it does not feel flimsy. On the course, it tracks straight, rolls easily and remains stable over uneven ground.

Curcurito also notes that the Blade IP 2 performs quietly without drawing unnecessary attention. GOLF.com presents the model as an updated version with an improved organizer panel, increased stability and a faster folding mechanism.

A beverage holder is included as standard. The expanded XL organizer panel has additional pockets for a phone, golf balls, a rangefinder and other accessories. The FlatFold mechanism automatically folds the rear wheels, reducing the cart’s size for storage and transport.

The manufacturer says the model is made from high-quality aerospace-grade aluminum with a powder-coated finish and uses minimal plastic. The Big Max Blade IP 2 is listed at $399 from PGA TOUR Superstore.
